Warung RieRie proudly brings “Tour Van Java”, Keliling Jawa” to you. A special 6 course tasting of Javanese delicatessens. Starting with an appetizer from Bandung, West Java, a main course from Central Java and ending with a traditional dessert from West Java.













Appetizer
Bala-Bala, Bakwan Sayur, Vegetables fritters
Bala-Bala, is easy to find at any street vendors food cart throughout Indonesia. Originating from Bandung, West Java, it’s a shredded mix vegetables mixed into a spiced batter and deep fried until golden brown, served with sweet and tangy chili dipping sauce.

Soup
Rawon Soup
Originally from East Java, Surabaya, Rawon is a Slow Braised Waygu Beef Soup with Kluwak Nuts to give it a rustic and nutty flavored Soup. Served with rainbow carrots, fingerling potatoes, roasted beets, and Krupuk Udang (rice shrimp cracker) along with micro green garnish.

Salad
Gado-Gado Salad
A very famous Indonesian Mixed Salad served with a sweet peanut sauce originally from Jakarta. It is a Mix of Blanched Vegetables, Tempe, Tofu, and Quail Eggs.

Seafood
Mangut
Originally from Central Java, in the city of Yogyakarta and Semarang. A Javanese cuisine of pan seared and smoked white fish with coconut curry sauce served in small bites. Garnished with Micro and pea sprout greens.

Main
Nasi Rames
A Javanese Rice dish with various side dishes: Semur Ayam (Braised Chicken in aNutmeg and Sweet Soy Sauce), Terong Balado (Asian Eggplant sauté with garlic basil tomato sauce) served with steamed jasmine white rice with hint of coconut and 3 different sambal condiments.

Dessert
Kolak Pisang
A traditional Indonesian twist on a classic dessert known as Banana Foster. Fresh bananas caramelized in a fresh made sweet palm sugar, banana liquor and coconut cream. Served with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and traditional Indonesian Lapis Legit cake.
